Who is your ideal client?
My ideal client is a small business owner who is passionate about their business and wants to stand out from the competition. I love to work with small businesses in Idaho and typically work with solopreneurs and creatives in industries such as photography, real estate, beauty, health and wellness, counseling and more!
What is your process for working with clients?
While the process is going to look a little different for brand and web design, here is the general process that I go through when working with clients:

1. Onboard

Interested in taking your brand and website for your small business to the next level? Reach out by emailing me or fill out the contact form.

2. Discovery Call

After you reach out, I will send you a link to book a free 30-minute discovery call where we can dive deep into your vision, goals, and aspirations. This is where I gain an understanding of your brand’s essence and how I can bring it to life.

3. Proposal

Following the discovery call, I craft a tailored proposal and contract outlining the roadmap to success. Transparency is key, and I want you to know exactly what to expect. Read through all the legal mumbo jumbo, sign the contract, make the first payment and we’re off!

4. Onboard

I want to save you time! To eliminate the back and forth emails, I send you a comprehensive questionnaire and client welcome packet to start the project. This helps me to unearth the finer details that make your brand authentically yours.

5. Design

Here’s where the magic happens. With your story as my guide, I embark on the design journey. From concept to creation, I weave your brand’s narrative into visuals that captivate and resonate with your ideal target audience.

6. Present + Deliver

The moment you’ve been waiting for. Your brand, revitalized and ready to soar to greater heights. This includes the final presentation and delivery of logos, brand guides, websites, business cards, brochures, banners, backdrops and more!

Do you offer payment plans?

I focus on working with small businesses, so I do offer payment plans because I know things can be tight. I do require a 30% investment up front before beginning a project.

What payment methods do you accept?

I will send a contract and invoice via Honeybook and you can pay via bank transfer, debit or credit card.

website questions

Which website platforms do you work with?

When building a new site, the main platforms I work with are WordPress and Showit.

How long does it take to complete a website project?

The timeline to complete a website depends on a lot of factors such as if you need branding, how many website pages you need, the scope of the project, and if you need custom photos taken for your website. Typically, it can take anywhere from 4-6 weeks for a full website build.

Why do I need a website for my small business?

These days, everything is digital. Your customers and clients expect you to have a website and you can be sure that your competitors have one. Having a website gives your business more credibility and shows off your brand voice and personality. It also is an important part of the customer decision making process.

Who do you recommend hosting with if I am building a site on WordPress?

If you are building a WordPress website, I recommend hosting with Siteground, Elementor or Bluehost! I have had great experience with all of them in the past.

I have an existing website that I want to update. Is this something you offer?
Yes! In addition to full website design, I also work on websites that just need to be updated or have pages added. When it’s all about those finishing touches or transforming a page or two, I’m happy to take what you have and elevate it! From revitalizing content to refining visuals, every element will be meticulously crafted to align with your brand’s vision.

If you want a DIY approach, I also offer power-packed 60-minute Website Audits tailored just for you. In this personalized session, I’ll conduct a comprehensive audit of your website. You’ll receive a detailed document of actionable recommendations. It’s not just about identifying areas for improvement; it’s about providing you with a roadmap to success.

Do you offer SEO (search engine optimization) services to get my business to the top of the first page of Google?

I offer basic SEO on all my website builds. This includes adding alt text to images, updating your Google Business profile and adding meta descriptions for each page. To get your business to the first page of Google, you may need to reach out to a business that specializes in SEO, which usually costs somewhere from $300-$1,800 per month.

branding questions

What if I don't have a name for my business yet?

That’s okay! This is something I can help with as well. First, I start with brand strategy, vision and mission, then dive into colors, fonts and logos so there is plenty of time to figure it out together.

Can't I just create my logo for free in Canva?

You can, but Canva is not the best software to use when it comes to logo design and branding. Don’t get me wrong; I love Canva and use it for pretty much everything else. Unfortunately, if you design your logo in Canva, you can’t trademark it and it is not in vector form. This means that if you want your logo to look good on a business card and a billboard, it needs to be designed in vector (Adobe Illustrator).

Why do I need branding for my small business?

Branding helps to set you apart from your competition and establish you as the go-to business in your industry. Branding, when done well, is unique, memorable, instantly recognizable and can even increase the value of your products and services!

What branding services do you offer?
I offer comprehensive branding services tailored to elevate your business and make a lasting impact. Our services include:

  • Brand Strategy: I dive deep into understanding your business, target audience, and industry to craft a brand strategy that aligns with your goals and sets you apart from competitors.
  • Visual Identity Design: From logos and color palettes to typography and brand patterns, I create a cohesive visual identity that reflects your brand’s essence and appeals to your ideal clients.
  • Brand Guidelines: I develop detailed brand guidelines that ensure consistency across all your marketing materials, including social media, websites, and print, helping to maintain a strong, unified brand presence.
  • Collateral Design: I design a variety of branded materials such as business cards, flyers, banners, and social media templates that reinforce your brand’s message and make a memorable impression.
My goal is to create a brand that not only looks great but also resonates deeply with your audience and drives business success.
