As a designer, having an email marketing platform where I can design beautiful emails that have a great deliverability rate is very important to me. I’m also a mom to a toddler so I don’t have a lot of time.

1. The Templates

If you’re not design-savvy, they have TONS and TONS of templates you can customize with your custom brand fonts, colors, photos and logo. Depending on what the goal of the email is, they have templates for sales emails, sharing news, welcome emails, say thanks, inspire or you can start completely from scratch and design your own template.

I’ve used and customized templates in the past, but I’ve also created a template for my newsletter that I typically send every 3 weeks. I just duplicate the last newsletter I sent and change out the text and images and hit send! Easy peasy.

2. Ability to Add in Your Own Branding

One of my favorite things about Flodesk is how easy it is to add your brand kit. You just add in your brand colors by clicking on your profile picture on the right when you first log in and then clicking on “Branding.”

Even if tech isn’t your strong-suit, their intuitive interface makes it easy to add in your logo, brand colors and either choose or upload your brand fonts. You can add your social media and website links and your address and it’ll show up at the bottom of your emails.

3. Drag-and-Drop Editor

I am in love with how user-friendly and clean Flodesk is! Once you get in and start designing your email, you can drag and drop new elements (like text or an image). If you need to change a color or font, you just click on it and select a color from your brand kit or from the standard colors panel. 

4. AI Subject Line Recommendations

Writing subject lines can be a drag sometimes. You just wrote an awesome email…but one of the most important (and often overlooked) things is writing a great subject line and preview text that will actually get people to open and read your email. 

One of Flodesk’s new features is AI subject line and preview text recommendations. Once you’ve written your email and go to send it, it will fill in your subject line and preview text based on the context and text in your email. 

All you have to do is edit, approve it and hit send!
